Could you accept the fact
That I'd pray to take your place?
Do you love me enough
To live on with out me
And face that pain
On your own
Or would you leave me behind
With out a glance at
What you’re leaving
With out a look upon
The faces of those you love
Would you leave them
To face that ultimate pain?
Do you love me enough
Not to take my place when I die
But to let me take yours
When its your turn to depart
Do you love me enough
To be able to face the pain of my loss
Just so I wouldn’t have to feel the pain of yours?
