Dragons


All feeling leaves you
Wanting the warmth back
You follow
Like a lonely wolf
Lost in a forest
You know not where to go
Or who to look to
But you know if you stay any longer
The outcome will not be good
The warmth has completely gone
And you are left alone
As a cold body of being
You know not what happened
To make this happen
But you know it was your fault
You know that the lies you told
Got you here
And now you can’t escape
You continue to wander
A lost and lonely soul
Through the forest
And no one can hear you when you cry
The humiliation is all yours
That you cradle
As one of your own
You have nothing left anymore
And the life that you once lead
Is now just a distant memory
That won’t leave you
No matter how much you try
You can’t clear your mind
And the noise is deafening
You can’t escape

You know only one thing
That is you live to feel death
And death is here to kill you
