Not a very in depth poem.
A painful sting as she clenched her stomach tight
She hasn’t had food for the past couple nights
Fading away, her world starts to crumble
To weak to even stand, watching as she falls and stumbles
The more she starts to trip
You can tell already that she’s losing grip
She hid all her feelings behind a simple smile
Just wishing for someone who would make life more worthwhile
Everyday it was still the same
Making up excuses to go along with this game
Going all day, feeling unnoticed
No one knew it would turn into this
For her hell is a place called home
Locked away in her room, she sits alone
Slowly disappearing, no one knew her secret
Hidden underneath, so only she could keep it
Further down along the line
She reached the hunger point after all this time.
