For too long, my people have been oppressed. Shut down, abused, tortured, slaughtered like animals, just for being different from them. They've taken away our land, our pride, our dignity, our way of life until now, there is nothing left but a hope that one day someone will have mercy on us, and save us from this hell that our life has become. We starve, we wane, we cry, we despair, we lose, we fall, we live and die as dust beneath the feet of those who rule over us.
Now, we will break free.

Humans and demi-humans once lived together in peace, until the reign of King Liaz. King Liaz managed to convince the humans that they were somehow superior to those not quite like them, and thus began their oppressive reign. The demi-humans, of course, fought back, but the sudden, massive uprising caught them off guard, and they had no time to organize themselves to strike back. Thusly they were bound to a life of slavery, of forever being third-class citizens in their own homelands, and throughout the planet.
For a long while nothing has been done of this, nothing could be.
A young woman with a dream formed a coalition of demi-humans who wished to break free from that nightmare. They gathered all who would come with them, and fought towards their ultimate goal of equality.
