[Tyr Zalo Hawk]: 712.Ideas.SilentAccusations

A young factory worker is caught in an accidental explosion, and through it is forced into a living hell. Since he was the only survivor not to be wounded badly, it is suspected that he caused the explosion and is now facing criminal charges. If he doesn't continue working, he can't help feed his two younger sisters. But the worst of it all is that he can't defend himself in court; he's mute.
His only escape from all of his tragic misfortunes is the unexplained love and devotion of his best friend, a young girl with normal parents who can afford to send her to school. This cotton factory worker has to somehow defend himself in silence, and discover things about himself and his town that he never knew.

Characters:
Michael: 14 year old mute who works in the cotton factory to support his family.
Katherine: 16 year old friend of Michael who has known him ever since he moved to the area. 'Secretly' in love with him.
Senna & Katie: 6 year old twin sisters of Michael, barely old enough to work in the factories but unable to due to their brother's firm stand on the issue.
