I thought it was the last time
That maybe this could end
Don't know why I thought that
Guess I was dazed back then

I thought it was the last time
But I should have known
That I couldn't control it
My problem was full blown

I thought it was the last time
How truly foolish I am
Wanting something that I know
I'll never be able to have

I thought it was the last time
Now I know it was a dream
Yet I wish that dream could be
The last thing I had seen

Now, it is the last time
This sadness has to end
And don't you say you're sorry
My heart needs time to mend.
