This also was an assignment for a class that I thought turned out pretty well. The inspiration derives from Tim O'Brien's How to Tell a True War Story, and is written with that kind of style in mind. In other words, there may be a lot of events described that may or may not be true, but through the eyes of the narrator, truth makes no difference.

(In case you are wondering: yes, this story is based on true events. I certainly wasn't kidding about the tigers. ^^*)
