The candle, the one thing that will stop me falling out of reality.
The flicker in the darkness,
The light of my dreams, keeping me awake.
The hypnotic dance of the flame,
Left Right
Left Right.
No ending
No beginning
Just the continuous
Left Right
Left Right.
No more Dreaming
No more sleeping
That is real at least until the battle is over.
The battle for life or death,
Light or Dark.
Wick or Wax.
The constant balance that must be kept in order for the flame to survive the night
It is a fight for survival,
On both sides.

2008-04-03 Kuzco: there's always a fight for survival in a candle's flame. The very substance of its existence, air/wind, will snuff it out if it blows too hard. It fights by consuming it before being blown away...by it.
It's a nice piece of work but don't be depressed, not the way to live a life, trust me.
