Over the next few days Captain Bobo proved to know all about space travel, the planets and even more about earth. Bobo hailed from what he said was a second generation planet, or one that was founded by another. He said that now second generation planets were coming to be more common than first generation planets.
Elise had come to terms with their strange new captain and had begun to figure out why he had taken them. "So what was the problem with the first. . . I mean Taklia."
Captain Bobo sighed, "Taklia was every persons dream. Beautiful cities of stone, rushing water, lush green clover through the meadows, but we began to advance and then one day, it happened. Half our planet was distroyed by an atomic blast, we moved to a nearby planet which had not sprung life yet, and settled there."
"Earth," Elise explained, "has been taking precautions for such things. We know that could happen if we aren't careful."

[elfiedawn]
"Yes, that is very wise for such a young people," Bobo said. "We have been very impressed with your progress in that area, but there are always further pitfalls to be avoided."
"So you'll help us then?" Elise asked eagerly. Bobo met her eyes, his expression troubled, or what she'd come to understand meant that he was troubled. "You mean you won't help us?" Elise asked, realizing that her sudden hopes had betrayed her into forgetting herself and all that she suspected.

[Mister Saint]
"Yes and no. You see, it's often not enough to tell someone how to do something. I could tell you stories about fallout and nuclear winter until my brain turns into a sentient puddle. You have to face the reality that, in ten seconds, your planet could be destroyed in detail." Bobo seemed awfully sure of himself, and his words, to the point where Elise had nothing even resembling a clue as to she ought to react. Her jaw remained perfectly slack for about twelve seconds. "Don't give me that look," Bobo snorted, "I said it could be. I never said it would."

[Ash]
"That I know," Said Elise almost in a state of frusrtation, though she contained her mood quite well. "What I don't is why you won't help us take percautions, if you were our friend you would help us. I mean It's not like the Earth is already doomed."
She turned and saw Captain Bobo escape her eyes, "your race needs to learn as so many did, if it survives, than your people truely know what to do. If not, than the race of humans will cease to exist, except for you among this ship.
"Excuse me, Captain Bobo, right?" Said the stranger walking into the room, "we may have a problem, it seems though a few of the engines are down and we may need them to get out of Jupiter's orbit, sir."
"Tell them to have my managers take care of this, Anetia, I'm in a discusstion with Elsie," Bobo said motioning his hand to her.
"Sir, we may have another problem," the now named stranger Anetia said as the ship jolted, "that problem." Three more jolts occured before they could stand, the ship was underfire.

[elfiedawn]
"Who--?" Elise started to ask, but the deck rose up and hit her in the face as the ship gave a tremendous jerk. Ignoring the question, Captain Bobo hurried towards the bridge, skillfully evading the jolting corridors that tried to delay him. Left alone in the middle of a deserted corridor, Elise got to her feet only to have her balance threatened again. Making her way to her sleeping quarters she strapped herself into her bunk and closed her eyes. Whether or not the ship would have a new Captain was at present not on her mind. Instead, she was wondering if the ship would survive.

[Ash]
"Elise, wake up child, you are needed on the bridge." Said a unhappy Captain Bobo as he poked her to get up.
"Sir, I've only been asleep a few hours." Elise complained.
Bobo shook his head, "you've been out for three days, and all the scientist are confused with out the head chemist."
"Sir, please I'm so tired," Elise yawhned as she almost went back to sleep.
"The Pacfic was hit with sleeping gases, but they don't effect my kind, we saved the ship, but we need you to examin everything." Else finally sat up and nodded, Captain Bobo left Elise to wake up and Elise just sat there, trying to wake up more.

2005-08-12 [elfiedawn]: Oooh, interesting. So are you hinting that you want Earth to be blown up? hehehe

2005-08-12 [Ash]: no, actually i was saying that many planets have already fallen to meltdowns and hes sort of saying that if they survive thats good if they don't oh well

2005-08-17 [elfiedawn]: Can someone name the ship? I wanted to refer to it in my post but realized it didn't have a name... Oh sure I could've picked one at random... but I don't know...

2005-08-18 [Ash]: I named it the Pacific since they're from Earth, I thought that would go.
