The blade was covered in blood
The sheets saturated
The arm replaced by ribbons
And the soul fading away
The hand releases the hilt
And then moves no more
The head lolls to one side
As her soul pours away
The lifeless body moves no more
Asleep on the sheets
The kiss of death
Places firmly upon her lips
The blade was melted
The sheets cleaned
And all that’s left to mark her life
Are the fading memories
