I’m lying on the floor
My heart an open wound
My life pouring away
For every minute I stay

The sky is getting dark
And the trees close in around me
As I am consumed in the darkness
That floats freely around me

I become weightless
As I float on the ground
In a world of complete darkness
Where I am alone

Where I am alone
Is where I will be forever
To never be left by these dark feelings
And never to leave these dark confines

The confines of where I am
And where I will never be
The heat rises towards me
And my soul starts to bleed

My life has become nothing
In these fiery depths
The mortal wounds remind me
Of my ever living past

The nightmares have never left me
And now I see them again
And taunt me in my sleep
I will never wake again.
