Lost amidst the creamy caress
Of the river’s pounding roar

I thought about, what I called myself

Far away, on that distant shore
Its crashes are so soothing

The moment forgotten in time
The breath of nature’s blood slips down

Tears that I now call mine
As the delicate melody sharpens

Forming from what once was sound
I think to myself of a truth

One which now can resound

It is a feeling unlike any other

Not just a place, but a thrum

One that consumes your everything

Making eternal, your once silent hum
Suddenly, everything rhymes
Surging through the void it once owned

Of names that some fools would call it

Where divinity should have roamed
Nothing on this earth compares

To this heaven of simplicity

And I find that while standing in waterfalls

They share their secrets with me

2007-12-22 iippo: I like it. And I love the choice of formatting in the shape of a waterfall. :) Although it gives it different ways of reading it (left to right by lines, or column at a time).

2007-12-29 Tyr Zalo Hawk: Thank you very much ^-^ always glad to know my work is aprreciated
