I've got a little melody
It's stuck inside my head
It bothers me all night and day
Sometimes I wish it dead

Of course, it's not all that bad
No, it's pleasant as can be
But even so, I've got to say
I wish for it to leave

Please don't make this harder
Than I know it is right now
We must rid me of this melody
But I just don't know how

That's it! That's it! Oh yes indeed!
You've done it! Thank you so!
With this new tune that's in my head
The other one is sure to go!
