Height: 6'7"
Weight: 107 lbs
Family: None.
Description: Tall, dark, mysterious, and fanged, Vallait could be just about any vampire from any novel ever written. That is, except for his left arm. Vallait's left arm is riddled with curse markings, symbols meant to have drained him of his power and leave him dead long ago. He wears elegant clothing, has teeth that shine like sun-stained snow, keeps his midnight-black hair combed straight back, and seldom smiles, for obvious reasons. Of course, when he takes control of Kruun he is dressed in whatever the boy happened to be wearing, and so keeps a change of clothes in places throughout the city.
Personality: Once having ridden the vampire cliche train of a charming nightwalker, Vallait quickly decided that this left a dull taste to the blood in mouth, and quickly changed to what people know him now as. This vampire is a cold, ruthless, monster. He doesn't play with those he drinks from, and doesn't leave enough in them for them to survive. Instead, he sucks them dry, giving the world another worthless shell to discover in the morning. A foul mood plagues him during all hours of every day, except for the moments when he has just finished raping and is sucking crimson life out of his victim.
History: To put it lightly, Vallait has lead a boring existence. For centuries he has done nothing but sleep, travel, kill, and then repeat this cycle as he sees fit. He has decimated entire towns before, draining away the blood count until it reaches a gruesome zero. Killing has been his life, and would've been all of his life if it weren't for an unlucky encounter with a witch some 400 years ago.
The witch was an elderly looking woman whom Vallait had the displeasure of trying to kill one evening. As he swooped in to grab her he felt only clothe beneath his hands, and the old gal was standing behind him with a blade at his throat. They shared brief words, mainly concerning the relevant lifespan of a vampire if he had no head. After their conversation, Vallait was released on the condition that he leave the town, and never return. With a false promise shared, the two parted ways, and in the morning there were ten bodies lining the main street, curled and bone dry.
Unsurprised, but still annoyed, the witch made it her personal mission to eradicate the demon from this world. She found his sleeping place in the city after a short search, and placed a curse on his left arm that, when he woke, would cause him a quick, and yet horrible demeaning death for someone like Vallait. Luckily enough for him, the curse hadn't been checked as carefully as it should've been. What should have ripped all the strength out of him and left him gasping for his final breaths had been unknowingly miswritten into something slightly less dangerous, and so he only suffers lapses in power periodically, draining him from vampiric strength to a state of near helplessness in a matter of seconds.
Knowing his curse could strike at any time, Vallait traveled less and sometimes kidnapped targets in order to have something to refill him when the blight on his life took hold. One night, however, when he was just about to feed a young boy scared away his prey, and so he attacked. Before he knew it, Vallait found himself locked inside the child, his powers being used to heal the destruction he'd just caused. It was terribly painless, but horribly violating, even for Vallait. What made it worse was that he wasn't the only one in the boy. An immortal was there, or at least an immortal's presence.
After a time, Vallait managed to take hold of the child and murder the faces of those annoying wretches he had to see through the innocence of a child's eyes. But just as he was about to finish he suffered a spasm from the curse, and the boy took over again and ran. While he'd managed to ruin young Kruun's life, he was still stuck with no obvious way out, and has been ever since. When he is feeling strong enough, Vallait takes control and ravages the city in a pleasure spree for himself, and to cause the boy more nightmares than he already has...
Abilities: Being a creature of the night, Vallait has superhuman strength, speed, and eyesight. His teeth function as piercing vacuums for blood consumption, and his body natural regenerates at a speed hundreds of times that of any other being, at least during the night. During the day all of his powers are nonexistant, drained away by the sunlight in the air.
